The Accident Scene

August 9, 2014

I know that it wasn’t very professional of me, my being a paramedic and all, but I almost split my gut laughing when I reached the accident scene and I wasn’t the only one. The clown car had run off the road into the cemetery smashing into one of those huge marble tombstones of an angel weeping over a dead child, knocking it sideways so that it rested by one wing against the ground. In the process the car had driven through the middle of one of those zombie weddings, you know the ones, where the groom, the bride and the guests are all made up and dressed to look like dead people. About fifteen clowns had exited from the car and were stomping around in their oversized shoes and colorful costumes while the wedding party, covered with fake blood and gore, wearing tattered and torn clothing were wailing and waving their hands. We finally got everyone settled down and checked out for injuries. Except for some minor cuts and bruises everyone was okay. The funniest part? The cause of the accident was a bee which flew in the window of the clown car, probably attracted by the huge water-squirting fake flower the driver was wearing on his lapel. He’s allergic to bees and panicked!
