pad2014-sDays shorten from noon
Darkness falls so soon
Cold winds do bitingly blow
Winter’s chill does grow
An oasis of calm
The soul’s secret balm
A sea of tranquility
The noiseless melody
Drifts of snow so white
Sparkling stars in the night
Set in the midnight dark sky
Echoing back an endless reply
Glowing orb of the moon
Crooning an ageless tune
Something felt rather than heard
The universal unspoken word
An ethereal chime
Ringing out sublime
A silent symphony
Filled with eternal harmony
Unending cycle of years
The song of the spheres.
