“ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME?!”

“Touch Me

if you Dare,

I’ll Show you

My Claws,

and Draw

Blood so Red,

Leave you

Crying in Pain,

Nursing your

Wounds,

Better

to Leave

Me Alone!”

I took this picture of my cat Selleck when he was in a grouchy mood. I particularly like the way his eyes are narrowed in warning. I thought that the poem I wrote was appropriate. I cropped the photo to focus in on Selleck, enhanced the blue tones slightly, and sharpened the contrast.
