It rained almost all day yesterday. I couldn’t post anything as the phone line was funky. We have sunshine today and the humidity is lower. I went to get my mail a few minutes ago. I saw three Cabbage Butterflies and two Tiger Swallowtails. The Egg And Butter is flowering along the roadside. I don’t know their official name but Egg And Butter is what our family calls them. They may be weeds but I think they are pretty. The egg is the yellow center and the butter is the creamy outer petals. The buttercups and small yellow wildflowers are also blooming. See the photos for examples. It just started pouring rain again. Emily
