Humans can learn a lot from cats. It has been a little over sixty hours and my cats have forgiven me for putting the flea drops on them. Cats just don’t carry grudges or nurse grievances. They were also faced with a dilemma, if they were ignoring me, they couldn’t ask for treats or get petted. Their desire for treats and attention won. Last night they twined around my legs and uttered their “fed us our treats” call. Afterwards, they curled up on my lap to get petted and purr at me. Today all is forgiven.

The weather is warming up again. It is supposed to get up into the eighties. There is a chance of a thunderstorm. The sun is shining. I’ve opened several windows and been able to put on a short-sleeved shirt. I saw a honey bee a few minutes ago. I had to get my Raid and spray the nest of some paper-wasps. Luckily, they were just starting to build it. They located it under the roof of my portico by the door. I am allergic to their stings, so it is best to get rid of them. Emily
