Today when I went outside I saw many plants blooming. The forsythia along the creek bank is a mass of bright yellow flowers. I cut a bunch and brought the inside. The cats sniffed them over and okayed them. I have a tall cobalt blue vase that I put them in. The contrast between the colors is perfect. The hyacinths and daffodils are also putting on a show. I like the pink hyacinths the most. My favorite daffodils are the white and apricot ones. I was inspired to write a short poem. I’ve included it in this blog.
